Local resident sings way to Grapevine, TX (Dallas Area) in karaoke contest

David Gonzalez, a resident of the Bronx, NY is having some fun and using some strong musical talent at one of the country’s major karaoke contests. David entered the International Bowling Karaoke Superstar Contest locally at East Hampton Bowl in East Hampton, NY and has won a trip to Bowl Expo at The Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX (DallasArea) to compete in the International semi-finals.

The International Bowling Karaoke Superstar Contest is run exclusively at bowling centers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Local singers have been competing every week for a winning spot in the local finals. Local finals winner David Gonzalez out sang all the weekly winners to win a trip to Texas including airfare and hotel accommodations to compete in the international competition.

First place winner in Texas wins $5000, second place receives $2000 and third place $1000.
